Frequently Asked Questions

  • Your first appointment will take around 40 to 60 minutes based on injured body part, type of injuries, barriers and concerns.

  • Clinic may send you intake form via email to fill out prior to appointment so, physiotherapist can focus more on your injury. Alternately, Intake form can be filled at clinic.

  • Physiotherapist greets you upon arrival, introduce him/herself, go through intake form, take your subjective and objective measurements of your injury, assess you thoroughly, and prepare customize treatment plan and provide you guidance and education.

  • You take first treatment (physiotherapy) follow by assessment.

  • Physiotherapist may explain you about physiotherapy cost, estimate number of sessions, home remedies and exercises during first session itself.

  • Physiotherapy follow up sessions range from 20 to 60 minutes based on injured body part, type of injuries, barriers and concerns.

  • Number of sessions varies person to person, mechanism and type of injury, and physiotherapy needs and concerns.

  • Physiotherapist prepares customize physiotherapy plan and you stay well inform about cost, number of session and expectation after therapy.

  • Yes, we will bill directly to most of insurance companies.

  • You may check with your insurance or health care provider weather they have direct billing allowance in your plan or not.

  • We accept Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Debit, Interact, e-transfer and Cash.

  • We give you receipt of the physiotherapy service on the same day most of the cases.

  • You can directly see the physiotherapist without doctor’s referral.

  • We would advise you to check with insurance provider or health care plan as some plan may ask for referral for the physiotherapy.

  • We ask you to bring doctor’s referral if you were given, health benefit card, and medicines list if you are taking regularly.

  • Our physiotherapist can pull out your investigation report (X-ray, ultrasound, Bone scan or CT scan etc.) from imagine clinic’s website, but we recommend you bring with if you have them already.

  • Please be sure or bring the clothing that will work with your area of the body that is going to be treated. For example, if lower leg then shorts will be appropriated. Your clothing should not restrictive for the physiotherapy purpose and comfortable for you. We provide you gown if needed for the treatment.
